Terms of Service

1. Agreement

These terms govern your use of bluestorageunits.com and the purchase or reservation of services from Blue Storage Units LLC. By using this site or placing an order, you agree to these terms. Storage rentals are additionally governed by the signed rental agreement for your unit, which controls if there is any conflict with these terms.

2. Reservations & Payments

• Online reservations require a signed rental agreement and payment through our secure checkout (processed by Stripe).
• Monthly rentals bill automatically each month; annual rentals are prepaid for twelve months at the discounted rate.
• Rent is due on the 1st of each month with a grace period to the 5th, after which late fees may apply as described in your rental agreement.
• Quoted delivery fees for portable units are based on distance from our nearest yard.

3. Storage Use

Units may be used only for lawful storage of personal or business property. Hazardous materials, flammables, perishables, and illegal goods are prohibited. You are responsible for locking and securing your unit and for insuring stored property; Blue Storage Units does not insure your contents.

4. Delinquency & Liens

Unpaid balances may result in denial of access, late fees, and ultimately sale of stored property under applicable Iowa or Wisconsin self-storage lien law, as detailed in your rental agreement.

5. Container Sales

Shipping containers are sold in the stated condition (e.g., new/one-trip, cargo-worthy, wind-and-watertight). Delivery dates are estimates. Title transfers on payment in full; risk of loss transfers on delivery.

6. Website Content

Site content is provided for general information. Pricing and availability may change without notice. We may modify or discontinue site features at any time.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Blue Storage Units LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the website or services. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amounts you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim, except where your rental agreement or applicable law provides otherwise.

8. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Iowa, without regard to conflict of law principles.
